Odd future adventure time gang
To me some good things about south central would be the people,places,and things you can do.And south central could improve on stuff like trash,violence and putting money into the community.But still overall living here is not that bad.And going to school here is fun.
The three most important events that have had the greatest impact on making south central,LA what it is today are the Crack epidemic,Gang history,L,A Riots.
Somethings I know about gang history are that some were only made for protection against white gangs like spook hunters.And the only reason big gangs like the bloods & Crips exist is because the CIA forced positive groups like the black panthers and brown berets to disband.
My second event is about the L.A riots.One reason this riot started was because a man named Rodney king was beaten by white officers who were later found not guilty.This riot also lasted for 5 days,53 people were killed,and it cost over 1 billion dollars in damages.
The last event I choose was about the crack epidemic.From what we learned about this topic I know that the CIA had a hand in getting the drugs to south central.And the reason this event is because I did not know that the CIA did this.
In review of my essay my topics were the Crack epidemic,Gang History, and the L.A riots.And In the future I think L.A will be way better because things change over time.
Huey Newton was born on 1942 in Louisiana and died on 1989.He was also apart of the Black Panthers and they ensured that African Americans were not abused.One of his accomplishments was putting up bail for innocent black people and feeding homeless people with free breakfast and some shelter.In my opinion what made him a great leader was the fact that he cared enough to change the way black people were treated.
The Differential association theory says that people are bad because of their evironment.
The strain theory says that people are bad if they are
1.It’s if people think or see something in a bad condition they think no one cares about that thing
2.Because the theory is that if a community is not taken care of more deviance will happen.
3.They put 2 broken down cars in 2 different neighbor hoods.One rich and one poor but crime occurred in both neighbor hoods.
5.A place we seen were no one cared was the Compton creek.On the lot there was a lot of trash and graffiti.But right across the street there was a very nice apartment complex that people cared about.
